Popular Bollywood and south film stars are promoting ISPL that is the reason ISPL T10 is such a huge success. Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) is cricket league for the street tennis ball cricket players across country. There are total 6 teams and owners of the ISPL teams are big celebrities itself.
Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan are also promoting the Registration process of ISPL so that large number of players should participate in the trials of the upcoming ISPL season. In ISPL, best tennis ball cricket players are selected through ISPL auction process.
List of ISPL T10 Celebrities and Big Players:
- Amitabh Bachchan: Amitabh Bachchan is the owner of the team “Majhi Mumbai“. He is very active in promoting ISPL in the television. Because of him the reach of the ISPL T10 has increased multifold.
- Akshay Kumar: Akshay Kumar is the owner of the ISPL team “Srinagar Ke Veer“. He has also seen performing at the opening ceremony of the ISPL season 1. He also participated in the opening show match of ISPL as a Captain of “Khiladi 11”.
- Sachin Tendulkar: Sachin is one of the core committee member of ISPL T10. He is actively taking his responsibilities of the cricket league and helps running the tennis cricket tournament smoothly. He has also organized meeting with all the players to explain and resolve the difficulty faced by the players bowling the tape ball. Sachin has participated in the opening show match of ISPL as a Captain of “Masters 11”.
- Suriya: Suriya is very famous south film star and he has huge fan following. His presence as a team owner definitely gave boost in the love of this tennis cricket league. He is the owner of the team “Chennai Singhams“.
- Ram Charan: Ram Charan is also very popular in the south film industry. He is the owner of the team “Falcon Risers Hyderabad“. His fan following has also helped to increase the awareness of the ISPL in the southern region of India.
- Hrithik Roshan: Hrithik is the owner of team “KVN Bangalore Strikers“. Due to some health issues Hrithik Roshan was absent in the opening ceremony of the ISPL T10.
- Saif Ali and Kareena Kappor: Saif and Kareena are the owners of the ISPL team “Tigers of Kolkata“. They have been seen in motivating their teams so that they can perform better in each matches.
- Ravi Shastri: Ravi Shastri is the former Indian cricket team head coach. He is seen promoting the ISPL in the television. He is also on the core committee member of the ISPL.
